Mankyu (まんきゅう, Mankyū, May 27, 1980) is a Japanese filmmaker, anime director and screenwriter from Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture. After graduating from university, he worked as a freelancer before joining the animation company DLE in 2009.
