Afonso Mota (20th April 1993) was born and raised in Lisbon. In 2015, he graduated in Cinematography at Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema, in Lisbon. That same year, his first short "Empty Room" received an honourable mention at Festival Vila do Conde.
