The American Southwest is a feature length blue chip natural history film narrated by indigenous environmentalist Quannah Chasinghorse. As a member of the Hän Gwich’in and Sičangu Lakota tribes, Chasinghorse has been advocating for indigenous rights. She’s also an environmental activist and a land protector for the ANWR. On the entertainment scene, she’s known for playing Young Irene in FX’s Reservation Dogs (2023).
